Room Type
Please request the room type that you prefer when submitting your
reservation to us. Here is the definition of each room type. Please
note that bed sizes vary from hotel to hotel and from room category to
room category!
Single room - room with 1 bed for 1 person.
Double room - room with 1 bed for 2 people. In most cases,
the room has 1 double or 1 queen size bed.
Rooms with 1 king bed may be available on request; a surcharge may apply!
Sometimes the room categories we use always come with 2 double or 2
queen size beds. In those cases, you will be booked and confirmed in a
twin room even though you requested a double room.
Twin room - room with 2 beds for 2 people. In most cases, the
room has 2 double or 2 queen size beds. In some rare cases, the room
may only have 2 twin size beds.
Triple room - room with 2 beds for 3 people. In most cases,
the room has 2 double or 2 queen size beds. Very few hotels have rooms
with 3 beds available. However some hotels offer roll-away beds, which
you can request at time of check in, if available and if the size of the
room allows. Often there is an extra charge for roll-away beds which
must be paid directly to the hotel. Roll-away beds are not
always available!
Quad room - room with 2 beds for 4 people. In most cases, the
room has 2 double or 2 queen size beds. Very few hotels have
rooms with 3 or even 4 beds available. However some hotels offer
roll-away beds, which you can request at time of check in, if available
and if the size of the room allows. (If the room size allows to add a
roll-away bed, then normally there only is room for 1 roll-away bed!)
Often there is an extra charge for roll-away beds which must be paid
directly to the hotel. Roll-away beds are not always available!
Please keep in mind, that room sizes vary and that room space can be
very tight when 4 adults share a room. You may want to consider booking
2 rooms to keep traveling more comfortable.
