Tour 102
Enjoy
the best bearviewing locations compacted into one
great tour. Kodiak Island is home to the World's
Largest Brown Bear. A sea-plane tour brings you to
where the bears are located during your visit.
Katmai National Park hosts the famous Brooks Falls.
Reliable bear viewing at Brooks Falls takes place from
late-June through July and again from late-August
until mid-September. These are the times when
the salmon are spawning in the Brooks River, and bear
activity is at its peak. Bear viewing is also possible
in early to mid-August, but bears appear in lesser
numbers.
