Our
Alaska Brown Bear Air Safari offers the rare experience of flying
in a bush plane with an experienced bush pilot who is a local
expert. Flight routes may include glaciers, volcanoes and a vast
wilderness region where the bears roam freely. With several hours
of flight time allocated to the Safari, it allows you to cover
some of Alaska's remote and scenic country. Flying west from
Anchorage to the Cook Inlet or the Katmai coast this bear viewing
flight safari is an ideal one-day Alaskan experience. Private
charters are also available.

One-day
tour from Anchorage
This morning transfer is provided from your Anchorage hotel,
or transfer on your own to the Lake Hood seaplane base. Your
experienced bush pilot will help you find the animals and be
your personal bear-viewing guide. He/She will fly you over
routes that include glaciers, volcanoes and the vast coastal
region where the giant bears roam. With several hours of flight
time allocated to the safari, you will be inspired by Alaska's
vast and rugged wilderness. Flying over lower Cook Inlet, the
tour route will take you along the shores of Katmai National
Park & Preserve to Brooks Falls. This bear watching flight
safari offers a great adventure for wildlife enthusiasts of all
ages. Picnic style lunch and park fee included.
Recommended
time is June - July and late August. Approximate duration of the
Bear Viewing Flight Safari tour (including transfers) is 8 -10
hours. Please note: This is not a private tour. Bear
sightings are likely but not guaranteed.

Seaplane

picnic lunch, transfers to/from Lake Hood airport. You may be joined by

"Pilot For The Day" Private Charter Air Safaris
can operate from several Alaskan centers and offer exceptional touring
experiences. Flight safaris can operate in Glacier Bay, Denali, Katmai, Kenai
Fjords, Kluane, Gates of the Arctic, Lake Clark and Wrangell St.-Elias
National Parks. Other locations of interest include Admiralty Island, Kodiak
Island, and Prince William Sound. Departure points include: Fairbanks, Haines,
Homer, Juneau, Kodiak, McCarthy-Kennicott, Skagway, and Talkeetna.
These
customized Charter Air Safaris can also be designed for multi-day
duration with accommodation at selected key wilderness lodges and
resort hotels. Ask our reservation team for details. Pilot for a
day tours require a two person minimum to operate. Actual flight
routes are chosen by the pilot with consideration to passenger
interests, weather and local conditions.
