Glacier Bay's Bear Track Inn is a recommended alternative to the accommodations at Glacier Bay Lodge. Selected for the friendly personality and high standard of guest activities, Glacier Bay's Bear Track Inn is found amidst the pine and hemlock forest near Gustavus. The location and construction of the log building is impressive. The fine interior is outstanding, with two stories and a total of 14 guest rooms, each with private bath and two queen beds. The central sitting area with its massive fire place is the focal point of the Inn , Stretching 30 feet from floor to ceiling, it offers inspiring panoramic views of mountains, forests and lush meadows. 

Meals are included in the stay. The Inn 's dining room features a family-style atmosphere where breakfast and dinner are served. Special diet requests can be accommodated with advance notice.  Lunch is usually packed for day trips.

Day 1: Arrive Gustavus;  Transfer on own to airports in Juneau , Skagway or Haines for an early scheduled morning flight to Gustavus. Upon arrival in Gustavus you will be met be a representative of the lodge and transfered to the lodge. Rest of morning at leisure. Enjoy a walk or relax at the lodge. In the afternoon transfer to the Gustavus dock. From here depart on a half day whale watching cruise to Icy Strait . Point Adolphus has become one of the most successful sites for whale watching. Upon return transfer back to the lodge. Overnight at Bear Track Inn. Lunch and dinner included.

Day 2: Glacier Bay National Park Cruise;  In the early morning transfer to Bartlett Cove where you board the high-speed catamaran to cruise into Glacier Bay National Park .  Lunch is included and park rangers are aboard to provide interpretive information.  Return to Bartlett Cove in the late afternoon to meet a transfer to the inn. Overnight Bear Track Inn.  All meals included.

Day 3: Departure Gustavus;  Morning transfers scheduled to meet departure flights. Breakfast included.

Round trip scheduled flights to/from Gustavus;  2 night’s accommodations at Bear Track Inn;  All meals at inn, lunch on Spirit of Adventure Cruise;  Half day whale watching cruise in Icy Straits;  Full day cruise into Glacier Bay with lunch;  transfers in Gustavus; and Tax.
