Tour 176
Set among 1.2 million acres of splendid wilderness deep in
the Alaska Range, Denali Wilderness Lodge --often called "the
world's most remote hotel"--is an Alaskan-bush retreat ideal
for adventure travelers, wildlife enthusiasts, or just about
anyone in search of the last best place on earth. Denali Wilderness
Lodge, located in the majestic heart of Alaska, is 30 roadless
miles from Denali National Park. Accessible only by bush plane,
this utterly remote lodge has all the allure of Denali without
the crowds. While others wait for the westbound bus at the
park's entrance, you soar eastward over granite peaks and
vast glaciers, perhaps catching a glimpse of a herd of
caribou. Thirty breathtaking minutes later, you land at our
wilderness outpost surrounded by prime habitat for moose,
caribou, Dall sheep, wolves and grizzlies.
