Explore the grandeur of Denali National Park. Spectacular scenery, top rated wildlife viewing and various outdoor activities make this a memorable experience. The lodges are located in the remote Kantishna region of the park.  You travel the entire park road with a naturalist driver guide in route to the lodge.  Animals you may encounter en route include the following: bears, moose, caribou, wolves, wolverines plus golden eagles, and dozens of bird species. Lodges in Kantishna are staffed by naturalists and outdoor enthusiasts who offer daily activities including guided hiking, mountain biking, nature treks, and evening nature presentations.

Four days/three nights

Day 01: Transfer on own to the Egan Convention Center in downtown Anchorage for departure to Denali on a scheduled bus service. On arrival at the park you will take a hotel shuttle to hotel. Overnight at Denali Park entrance.

Day 02:  Morning at leisure. Enjoy and afternoon wildlife tour traveling over 93 miles/153 km into Denali National Park to Kantishna. Overnight at Kantishna Roadhouse or Denali Backcountry. DINNER.  

Day 03:  Daily programs with naturalist guides are available such as nature walks and mountain biking. All outdoor activities (except flightseeing and horseback riding) and meals are included. The accommodation is in comfortable cabins with private bath. Breakfast and lunch served buffet style. Home cooked dinner with freshly baked bread is served in a congenial atmosphere. Overnight at Kantishna Roadhouse or Denali Backcountry. ALL MEALS.

Day 04:  In the early morning depart by bus back to the park entrance with stops for viewing wildlife. Mid-day departure on a Deluxe Dome car (reserved seating) to Anchorage. Transfer on own to hotel. BREAKFAST.

Round trip transportation from Anchorage (one way bus and one way rail), 1 night hotel accommodation at the park entrance and 2 nights accommodation at a Wilderness Lodge located within Denali National Park, all meals while at the lodge, services of naturalist staff, park fees and taxes. Operates June - early September.

Suggested Add-ons: Fly-out from Kantishna to the Denali Park entrance via Mt. McKinley. Private car and driver for one way transfer between Anchorage - Denali is also available. Departures daily.
