Location:
Just a short 30 minute scenic flight via seaplane
you will land at the remote Raspberry Island for a few
days at a truly special wilderness lodge. Nature and modern conveniences don't often go hand in
hand but at Raspberry Island Remote Camps, you can
enjoy the best of both worlds... the calm and quiet of
a wilderness vacation - with all the comforts of home.
Fishing:
Raspberry Island Remote Camps offers trophy class
fishing with up to fifteen salt and fresh water
species of fish to choose from. Fishermen of all ages
have enjoyed the thrill of catching "the big
one" surrounded by Alaska's limitless beauty. The
lodge provides top of the line equipment to insure
trouble free, light weight and responsive gear matched
to the species you are fishing for. Instruction is
provided and each trip is fully guided by licensed
guides and captains. Your fish is often featured as
"catch of the day" at the evening meal. The
fish processing room has a blast freezer and
commercial vacuum sealer guarantees a quality product
to enjoy once you return home. Forty pounds of fish
are processed for at no extra charge.
Accommodations:
Privacy cabins ensure a comfortable evening's rest in
preparation for the next day's adventure. For an extra
dose of relaxation, climb in to the banya, which is a
Native Alaskan steam bath, or have a nightcap in the
outdoor hot tub. Each evening the setting is
captivating as you watch the sun set below the
surrounding mountains enhanced by breathtaking view of
the bay. The lodge has only four guest cabins
decorated in a rustic country style that surround you
with an atmosphere of cozy relaxation. All cabins have
running water and lavatory, with a separate but
private shower house for each cabin.
Meals:
All meals are served family style at the lodge. A
succulent assortment of fresh garden herbs and
vegetables, smoked salmon hors d'ouvres, and home
baked breads and desserts will please your palate. The
main dish is the catch of the day, - Sushi and Sashimi
can be prepared upon request. With your meal, sip on
quality domestic wines such as Pine Ridge Estates and
Archery Summit.

Air
or water taxi transportation from Kodiak, all meals,
accommodations, daily guided fishing or adventure
activity, use of all weather gear, bait, tackle, rods,
reels and fish cleaning/packaging. Does not include
fishing licenses or tags. Gratuities are appreciated
by the lodge staff.

Location: Larsen
Bay Lodge is located on the northwest coast of Kodiak
Island. It is 60 air miles southwest of the City of
Kodiak and 283 miles southwest of Anchorage.
Situated on a narrow fjord in a scenic valley.
The area provides some of the best fishing in the
entire Kodiak archipelago. Access to the lodge
is via scheduled flights from Kodiak, or by charter
flight from Anchorage.
The Fishing: Larsen Bay Lodge presents some
of Kodiak Island’s best fishing opportunities.
Fishing season begins in June with King Salmon - and
ends in the middle of November with trophy Steelhead.
Freshwater:
The Karluk river is perhaps one of the most exciting
trips offered on the Island. River rafting the Karluk
offers an excellent opportunity to access several
prime fishing holes in the same day. Or fly out to the
Ayakulik river for more top quality King and Sockeye
fishing. In July fly out to Fraser lake to the
Dog Salmon river for incredible fly fishing. The
Sockeye are so thick in this river, even a beginner
will feel like a pro. Kodiak Brown bear viewing is
excellent in this area so bring your camera.
Saltwater:
Fishing for halibut and salmon is extraordinary.
Trolling for ocean going salmon is a very productive,
and it is not uncommon to catch halibut over 300lbs.
There are also several species of bottom fish such as
sea bass, rock fish and black cod. Fishing is
common in water depths between 60-150ft. to insure the
best conditions. All boats have enclosed cabins to
help make a long fishing day a comfortable one.
Saltwater fishing is available June-mid November.
Accommodations:
This deluxe beachfront lodge offers accommodations
including 4 private cabins, plus 2 lodge. We are
located on the beach so many of our rooms have
incredible bay views. The main lodge has a large
dining area with a beautiful stone fireplace. Social
areas are equipped with satellite tv, card table and
pool table. Suites and cabins have queen size beds,
private bathrooms and decks.
Meals: The food service we offer is
exquisite. All meals are provided. We serve a large
breakfast, lunches are either cooked on the shore by
the guide, or are pre-packed. The chef features
new entrees daily. The menu includes a variety of
seafood and meats. Our desserts can satisfy any sweet
tooth. Larsen Bay Lodge has been in operation
for over 20 years.

Lodging,
meals, fully guided saltwater charters and fly-out
river fishing including fishing gear and fish
cleaning. June & July rates include Karluk
River float trip (if desired).

Location:
The lodge is a wilderness vacation retreat
on the mountainous and densely forested Afognak
Island, one of the Kodiak Islands group. The lodge is
surrounded by nearly 50,000 acres of wilderness in the
Afognak Island State Park. The lodge can be
accessed via air or boat. It is ideal for those who
want a casual yet active and adventurous day in the
freedom of wilderness and sea, whether your interests
are in photography, sport fishing or just having fun.
The Fishing: Great salmon fishing is found along
the stream banks and estuaries. The Red [Sockeyes] run
throughout June to mid-July; the pinks [humpbacks] run
from mid-July throughout August; the silvers [Coho]
run from late-July through mid-late September.
Rainbow, steelhead and dolly varden trout are also
available. From the sea, you can fish for a
variety of bottom fish including halibut, ling cod,
sea sass, red snapper.
Accommodations:
The lodge accommodates 12 guests in spacious
log guest cabins that are elegantly rustic and
cozy. The lodge is nestled where the edge of the
virgin forest meets with tranquil waters of a
protected cove. Each cabin has two bedrooms, an ample
living room and a modern bathroom with hot, running
water--plenty of creature comforts.
Meals: Hearty local
cuisine is served family style in the main lodge, plus
a dandy packed lunch is prepared for an uninterrupted
day with Mother Nature. Boats include fast,
comfortable cabin cruisers that are ideal for those
who want a casual yet active and adventurous day in
the freedom of wilderness and sea.

First-class spacious
log guest-cabin accommodations, quality meals,
boat-travel with USCG licensed guides, all fishing
gear/lures (spinning, fly & deep-sea), rain-gear
and hip-boots (if needed), kayaking, hiking,
beachcombing, wildlife photography and
sauna.
