The historic White Pass & Yukon Route was built
during the 1898 Klondike Goldrush and still operates
a daily summer service from Skagway to Fraser,
British Columbia with connecting bus service to
Whitehorse. Round trip rail tours from Skagway to
the White Pass Summit depart twice daily. Rail
enthusiasts please note that steam train excursions
operate regularly from both Skagway and Carcross,
Yukon.
