The Alaska Railroad operates year-round northbound between Anchorage, Denali, and Fairbanks. Daily summer service offers a choice of reserved seating in standard coach car or deluxe domed railcars. Dining cars are available during the summer months. Southbound trains from Anchorage to Seward operate with both standard car and vista dome railcars. Southbound trains from Anchorage to Whittier operate with standard railcar only.
